Pick up any copy of a local book or business directory and you will be inundated with any number of life insurance companies. One way of getting quotes is to ring around to these companies and speak to the customer service advisor direct. This way you can get immediate answers to any questions or concerns that you may have. They can usually get you a quote there and then as well so you don’t have to wait. The other thing with this method is that it can be time consuming having to ring around from company to company.

You can ring the companies or log onto their websites to request literature to be sent to your home. This is usually posted out straight away so you receive it within just a few days. This is great because you can sit down and compare them all in your own time but it can be frustrating if you do need to ring around the companies – We all hate those automated systems.

Probably the easiest, quickest and simplest is to log onto an insurance compare website. You simply enter in the details of what you want and this website will contact all the major brokers and come back to you within minutes. This is great because you can compare them like for like and has the added advantage that it takes only a few minutes. It is a great way to make sure you are getting the best offer without spending hours ringing around different companies

Unfortunately for those that are not prepared this can not only be an emotionally hard time but a financial struggle if we haven’t thought ahead.
